Counselor Created School Programs
The comprehensive school counseling program at Kensington Parkwood has been created to meet the needs of all students and families.

Classroom LessonsI visit with each classroom every month for a counseling lesson. You will always receive a letter home related to what was taught in the lesson and how to follow up with your child at home. These lessons are based on the need of the grade level and linked to ASCA standards academic, career and social emotional development.

Small Group CounselingI meet with counseling groups during the student's lunch. These groups run for anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks at a time. The topics of the groups could consist of anxiety, emotional regulation, divorce, grief, social skills, friendship, self-esteem, and more. If you are interested in your child participating in a counseling group with me, please contact me.
